Q: How long does it take to make a project?
A: Woodworking is my passion, therapy, hobby and enjoyment. It is not my vocation. Some weeks I will have several hours to spend in the shop. Other weeks I may have only a few hours and there are weeks when I may not have any shop time at all. So it is difficult to estimate the exact time spent on a particular project because the time can be very sporadic.
Q: Will you do commissioned pieces?
A: Yes, but as I stated above I will need ample time to complete the project.
Q: Do you do consignments?
A: Yes.
Q: Where is your shop?
A: I work out of a small space in the back room of our basement.
Q: How long have you been working with wood?
A: Approximately 15 years.
Q: Where do you get your wood from?
A: Most of it comes from our local “Woodsmith Store”. However, when I travel throughout the U.S. I seek out the fine wood stores in the area I will be staying in. Many times I am able to find exotic woods in some areas of the country that I cannot find in other areas.
Q: Do you ship pieces?
A: Yes, at the expense of the purchaser.
Q: If I see a piece that I really like, can I have it made with different wood tones?
A: Absolutely.
